Dori Kaplan provides culturally relevant translations and adaptations of materials at the appropriate language level for readers' literacy levels. The finished product will be easily understood documents, written in a clear and concise manner. Her goal with translations is to make them sound like they were written in Spanish, not like they are translations. This is especially important with materials that are going directly to consumer. 

​​To ensure quality of the final product, documents are reviewed by another professional Spanish translator for editing purposes. In addition, Dori collaborates closely with clients to ensure her clients are successful and receive the correct translation, and builds comprehensive memories for each client to ensure consistency within and across documents.

Dori also serves as a Spanish interpreter in the Northern California Region. She works in courtrooms, medical clinics and school systems.
